Welcome
Welcome to the Coutu Research Group and the MEMS and Advanced Microsystems Laboratory found in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Marquette University. Here at the Coutu Research Group, we conduct advanced microsystem, device fabrication, and materials research to develop state-of-the-art microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS), and smart system technologies such as: membrane sensors and actuators, phase change materials, micro-electrical contacts and micro-switches, energy harvesting and storage, and micro-grids.
